Bangkok, Feb. 13 (CNA) An online job search platform established by local job bank 1111 and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Thailand is now up and running, allowing Taiwanese employers in the Southeast Asia country and potential employees to better find each other.

According to TECO on Tuesday, Thailand is an important country in Taiwan's New Southbound Policy, with exchanges between the two countries in manufacturing, technology, education, medicine, agriculture and services.

With many Taiwan companies doing business with or based directly in Thailand, the need for employees with international experience, especially in Southeast Asia, is greater than ever, according to TECO.

The platform 1111thai.com categorizes jobs into four categories: foreign language skills, Southeast Asia jobs, key industries and executives.

A general job search based on job content, location, industry and other keywords is also available.

The website is available in Chinese, English and Thai and has a user-friendly interface.

The platform provides not only job listings but also the latest information from the Thai government on investment and labor regulations.

1111 also plans to provide education exchange and internship opportunities on the website in the future.
