Hon Hai ranks 2nd-largest smartphone assembler in Q3: IDC

Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., the world's largest contract electronics maker, ranked as the second-largest smartphone assembler in the global market in the third quarter of this year, according to a report released Tuesday by the market information advisory firm International Data Corp. (IDC).
