Total sales by Taiwan's manufacturing industry rose 4.4 percent year-on-year to NT$6.75 trillion (US$229.5 billion) in the third quarter of 2017, marking the fourth consecutive quarter of growth as global demand continues to soar, according to a report released Thursday by the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA).
