MSCI weighting hike unlikely to give big boost to TAIEX: analysts

A move by MSCI Inc., a global index provider, to raise Taiwan's weighting in its major market indexes, is unlikely to give a boost to the Taiwan Stock Exchange Capitalization Weighted Stock Index (TAIEX) because the local main board remained in consolidation mode, according to analysts.
