Premier urges tighter controls after fraud found at Mega Bank

Taipei, Oct. 24 (CNA) The Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) should tighten its supervision of Taiwan's banking sector, Premier Lai Ching-te (賴清德) said Tuesday after a fraud case surfaced at the Bangkok subsidiary of Mega International Commercial Bank (兆豐銀).
