U.S. dollar closes lower on Taipei forex (update)

The U.S. dollar fell against the Taiwan dollar on Thursday, shedding NT$0.029 to close at NT$30.442 after moving in a narrow range amid caution ahead of the conclusion of a quarterly policymaking meeting held by the local central bank due after the market closed, dealers said.
