Taiwan-based PC vendors Asustek Computer Inc. (華碩) and Acer Inc. (宏碁) saw their PC shipments fall in 2016 as the global market weakened, recording a consecutive year-on-year drop since 2012, according to U.S.-based market information advisory firm Gartner.
