CTBC Financial shares boosted by hopes of major shareholder buying

Shares of CTBC Financial Holding Co. (中信金) got a significant boost Thursday morning, thanks to high hopes that its major shareholder will continue to raise its stake in the company, which will lend support to the stock's price, dealers said.
