Almost 80% of local employers gave no pay hikes in 2015: poll

Taipei, May 31 (CNA) Almost 80 percent of employers in Taiwan did not raise regular wages last year, according to a poll released Tuesday by the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS), which attributed the decision to a slowdown of the domestic economy.
