A deal by Taiwan-based Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. (鴻海) to acquire cellphone assets under the name of Nokia from Microsoft Corp. is aimed at the booming market in India, where the Taiwanese manufacturing giant has set its sights for the next 10 years, analysts said Thursday.
