Credit card spending in March reaches NT$199.6 billion

Taipei, May 3 (CNA) The total value of credit card transactions in Taiwan amounted to NT$199.6 billion (US$6.19 billion) in March, the fourth-highest for a single month, as consumers ramped up their use of credit cards for insurance, travel and transportation payments, according to the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC).
