The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar Tuesday, gaining NT$0.002 to close at NT$32.832, a new high in a the week, after Taiwan's central bank picked up the U.S. currency in the late trading session, helping the unit reverse its early losses, dealers said.
