A Taiwanese fishing boat, the Shuen De Ching (順得慶) No. 888, had illegally harvested shark fins and threw the sharks back into the sea, said Tsay Tzu-yaw (蔡日耀), director-general of Taiwan's Fisheries Agency, citing evidence collected by the Coast Guard Administration after the vessel had returned to Taiwan on Friday.
