Humanoid Pepper robots to hit market again after red-hot debut

Taipei, July 5 (CNA) After the first 1,000 human-like robots named "Pepper," developed by Japanese telecom giant SoftBank Corp. and Taiwanese contract manufacturer Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., sold out within one minute on June 20, another 1,000 of a new version of the robot will be coming out July 31, according to SoftBank.
