Taiwan, U.S. aiming for TIFA talks by year end: U.S. official

Taiwan and the United States are working toward holding the next round of talks under the bilateral Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA) before the end of the year, Charles Rivkin, U.S. assistant secretary of state for economic and business affairs, said Tuesday.
