ASE to team up with TDK to churn out wearable device components

Taiwan-based Advanced Semiconductor Engineering Inc. (ASE,日月光), the world's largest integrated circuit packaging and testing services provider, has agreed to team up with Japanese electronics maker TDK Corp. to set up a joint venture to produce components for wearable and portable devices.
