The Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) said Tuesday that despite a year-on-year fall in the local consumer price index (CPI) in April, there are no worries about deflation in the country as the core CPI (excluding vegetables, fruits and fish) remained on an upward trend.
