Average regular wages in Taiwan up 1.63% in eight months

Taipei, Oct. 22 (CNA) Average regular monthly wages in Taiwan's non-farm sector rose 1.63 percent from a year earlier to NT$38,076 (US$1,257), the highest level on record, the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) said Wednesday.
