Taipei, Aug. 1 (CNA) The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar Friday, gaining NT$0.029 to close at the day's high of NT$30.069 after moving within a narrow range amid cautious sentiment ahead of the release of the U.S. non-farm payroll data for July, dealers said.
