Taiwan firm secures GE Aviation contract to make engine parts

Taipei, Oct. 9 (CNA) Aerospace Industrial Development Corp. (AIDC), the largest aircraft parts maker in Taiwan, has won a NT$9.5 billion (US$323 million) contract to manufacture parts for U.S.-based GE Aviation airplane engines, according to an AIDC statement.
