U.S. carrier AT&T slashes price of HTC First phone

AT&T Inc., the second-largest U.S. mobile provider, announced Wednesday a huge price cut in a smartphone co-launched by Facebook Inc. and Taiwan’s HTC Corp. just one month after the device went on sale.
