Taipei, Nov. 11 (CNA) An agreement by Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC Corp. and Apple Inc. of the U.S. to settle their global patent disputes is a positive development for Taiwan's information and communication technology (ICT) exports, a government spokesman said Sunday.
