Gartner cuts 2012 semiconductor growth to 0.6% on slowing PC demand

U.S.-based research firm Gartner Inc. on Thursday revised down its revenue growth forecasts for the global semiconductor industry in 2012 and 2013 because of weaker-than-expected demand for personal computers.
