Taipei, July 4 (CNA) The annual Taipei Multimedia Show will open this week with a display of the latest consumer electronics, Top Link International Exhibition Co., which organizes the event, said Wednesday.
The 180 participating companies will include some of the world's biggest producers of personal computers, digital cameras and other consumer electronic products, the organizer said.
Big names such as Apple, Acer, Asustek, Toshiba, HP, Sony, Panasonic, Canon, Nikon, Samsung, Fujifilm and Olympus will be represented at the approximately 600 exhibition booths at the Taipei World Trade Center, according to Top Link.
During the four-day show from July 6-9, visitors will have a chance to hunt for bargains and browse state-of-the-art products, the organizer said.
The 3C products will be on display in six zones, featuring computer systems, digital cameras/digital technology, computer peripherals, video software/multimedia entertainment, video and audio multimedia, and the Internet, the organizer noted.
