More than 70% support cross-strait status quo: survey

Taipei, May 18 (CNA) More than 70 percent of people polled support efforts by Taiwan's government to maintain the cross-strait status quo based on the pursuit of peace and stability, according to the results of a public opinion poll released by the Cabinet-level Mainland Affairs Council (MAC).
