Beijing reaction to Tsai's speech not as bad as expected: ex-AIT head

Beijing's reaction to President Tsai Ing-wen's (蔡英文) inauguration speech was not as bad as some people had expected and may have even showed some good will, former American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) chairman Richard C. Bush, said Saturday.
