Taiwan puts trade pact with China over TPP: Economics minister

Taipei, Nov. 25 (CNA) Economics Minister John Chen-chung Deng (鄧振中) said Thursday that Taiwan prioritizes a trade-in-goods agreement with China over the U.S.-led Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) for the moment, adding that he hopes talks on the trade pact with China will make a breakthrough by the end of this year.
