Taipei, March 5 (CNA) The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the foremost non-profit trade promotion organization in Taiwan, is pleased to announce the participation of 26 Taiwanese enterprises in the coming 2012 EXPO Republica de China (TAIWAN) from the 14th to the 17th of March.
Over the course of the 4-day event, TAITRA will present an ideal platform for mutual exchange and collaboration between enterprises from Taiwan and Honduras through the expo, which also serves as a good occasion for Taiwan to establish closer trade ties with other countries within the region.
Each year, TAITRA organizes various trade events to visit Honduras. These activities not only help enhance bilateral trade ties but they also promote the continuous development of mutual solidarity and camaraderie, which has been the foundation that holds Taiwan and these countries together.
The 2012 EXPO from Taiwan features equipment and machinery that can sharpen any type of business. Taiwan’s expertise and many decades of experience in machinery enable it to create and produce cutting-edge machines and equipment that meet today’s needs. At the EXPO, buyers and visitors will find the right tools that can maximize productivity. Some of the exhibits include safety equipment for industrial use, a wide variety of machines (e.g., blow molding machine, mold, plastic and shoe making machine, injection molding machine), hospital beds and furniture, and hardware products, among many others.
In addition to featuring a vast range of fashion related items such as jewelry, shoes, bags, belts and buckles, ribbons and trimmings, textiles and fabrics, garments, and many other accessories, this event helps enrich the modern lifestyle. With the health and wellness concept in mind, Taiwan has been producing innovative products for sports and leisure. Some items to be exhibited include video games and numerous gaming products, robots and model planes, scooters, skateboards and inline skates, and various leisure products.
The Taiwan exhibitors shall also introduce a vast range of healthful products including herbal skin care, baby care and hair care products, medicated skin care cosmetics, natural hand-made soaps, herbal sanitary napkins, cosmetics and make-up kits, and intense pulsed lights (IPL). A wide range of natural and healthy beverages are also available such as teas, fruit and sports beverages, milk and soybean milk.
Finally, Taiwan will present some of its best material selections for construction, such as plumbing fixtures, faucets, showerheads, strainers, valves (e.g., PVC ball valves, butterfly valves, check valves, foot valves), flanges, and compression couplings.
