Taiwan's IC packaging, testing output forecast to grow over 9%

The production value of Taiwan's integrated circuit (IC) packaging and testing sector for 2013 is expected to grow more than 9 percent from a year earlier on the back of the rising popularity of smartphones and tablet computers, according to a research report published Thursday.
