MediaTek, MStar shares down on merger postponement

Shares of MStar Semiconductor Inc. and MediaTek Inc., two of Taiwan's leading integrated circuit designers, fell Tuesday morning after their plan to merge was again postponed because of opposition from China's fair trade authorities, dealers said.
